Softball All-Stars 8U/10U

These teams are made up of recreational team players playing at above-average skill level, and looking to improve their skills with additional practices and game play throughout the summer. 

We will host an All-Star evaluation/try-out at Harris on Sunday, 5/19, 3-4:30 pm, field 8 (8U) and field 4 (10U), with an alternate try-out date TBD if required. Players MUST attend the try-out in order to be considered for the team.    

No fee is charged to register; this will only be assessed after a player makes the team.

Starting in late May and lasting through the end of July, all-star players can expect one additional practice per week, separate from their rec team obligations. The team will participate in two/three regional weekend tournaments, for which drive times will not require overnight stays. Players should expect an additional 8-12 games from these tournaments in addition to their rec team commitments. Expected costs are around $125, which covers partial tournament entry fees along with an All-Star jersey. If a player makes the team, they will pay the all-star fee via the registration on the Harris website. Any travel costs are the guardian's responsibility, as they are not included with the team fee.
