8u Machine Pitch Softball
8U machine pitch softball is an opportunity for softball players to begin hitting off pitching from the machine. Standard softball rules start to apply that make the games fun and competitive!

Girls born between 9/1/2016 and 8/31/2018
When
Practices will begin the week of April 13, 2026.
Games will begin May 2.
The season is scheduled to conclude with the end-of-season tournament the week of June 29 - July 1 (possible rain dates July 6-8 if necessary).

Harris Park - Field 8
Practices/Games
Games are typically scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and occasionally Saturdays, with one or two events per week throughout the season. Additional practices are scheduled at the discretion of head coaches.
2026 8U Machine Pitch
8U Machine Pitch Softball: Girls with birth dates 9/1/2016 - 8/31/2018 (7- and 8-years old as of 8/31/2025).
*Note the age cutoff for Babe Ruth Softball changed this year to 8/31. Exceptions may be made for girls with birth dates 9/1/2018-12/31/2018 who want to move up to 8U, even though they are now still qualified for 6U.
