Question: Who is the 2010 Concession Stand Manager and how can I contact him/her?
Answer: Patti Vavul is our 2010 Concession Stand Manager. Many of you may already know Patti. She has been a member at HJTBSA for many years. She also brings with her great deal of experience. She has worked/managed the Penn Football Team Concession Stand(s) for several years. If you should need to contact Patti, you can call or e-mail her at:

Question: When should I show up?
Answer: You should first look at our OFFICIAL Concession Stand schedule located HERE. You will then want to see what time slot you are scheduled to work. You should plan to arrive 15-20 Minutes BEFORE you are scheduled to work. This time is being used to get you aware provide some basic training as to the procedures being used at the concession stand.
Question: Will I be notified or reminded as to when I am scheduled to work?
Answer: Yes, we are going to try and provide you an automated phone call to remind you as to what DAY you are working, but it will not tell you your exact time. It is your responsibility to know when you are scheduled to arrive at the concession stand.
Question: I am scheduled to work during the last game of the day, is there anything special I should be aware of?
Answer: Yes, it may happen where the park is so busy or enough games are going over their allocated slots, where we may ask for additional help/time. Of course, this will be volunteer and you are not required to stay, but it would be very beneficial for the park and to the kids whose games are not yet finished if you would consider staying for a few extra minutes.
Question: How long are the Time Slots?
Answer: Generally speaking, each time slot is for TWO HOURS.
Question: HEY! I thought I already paid a "BUYOUT" for the concession stand... What's going on?
Answer: We cannot assure every park member that all of the information planted into the database is without error. If you are certain you paid for the buyout and the system is showing you as not paying, please contact your Team Manager and
. The Treasurer will contact the Team Manager to confirm the payment/buyout as it is located on your original signup form.
Question: Can I still BUYOUT my concession stand obligation?
Answer: Yes, you can still buyout your concession stand obligation by clicking HERE.
Question: What if I am scheduled to work, but the games are rained out?
Answer: In the past, you were never rescheduled to work, and if possible that will be the way we work it this year. However, there is no promise we can work it that way this year. Generally speaking, your team will be placed back into the "bank" of workers.
Question: My team is scheduled on two different days? What is going on?
Answer: We have a couple teams that are split across two different days. This was due to some scheduling issues, and don't anticipate this being a big concern, but it was done to make sure we have a decent balance of coverage at the concession stand.
Question: My team isn't listed? What is going on?
Answer: There are a couple of teams we have left off of the list, to give us some flexibility for when rainouts happen. We will contact those teams directly.
