are you a "Great Fundraiser"

Hey All,

Harris Baseball Softball has an opening on our Board for Fundraising Coordinator.  We are looking for an individual that has great connections to our community and that would love to generate opportunities for local businesses to help financially support new facility projects such as an indoor facility, installing lights on Fields 3 & 4, more safety netting and many more park projects. Please email shaundralle@hotmail.com if you would be interested in this role or know of someone that would be great at this role.

Thanks,

Shaun

Softball - 8U Fall Ball 2020 Machine Pitch

Fall ball will be starting after Labor Day and last 5-6 weeks.  Sign-ups will dictate the type of play we go with but at this point if you'd like to coach a team please let me know so I can get you on the list.  We will be doing this for 8U/10U/12U.  Girls will play at the level they will be playing in next spring.  So if your daughter has played in 8U for 2 years she would most likely be playing 10U next spring and should sign up for 10U.

We desperately need managers and coaches for the girls to be able to play!  This is the time to get your coaching resume started when things are slower paced in the fall!

Board Nomination time...

Good Morning!

We are looking to highlight a Chevy Youth Baseball coach or parent that goes above and beyond in your league community! This can be someone within your organization that has helped countless individuals and dedicated a significant amount of time supporting your league members. This person can be an unsung hero – someone that doesn’t crave the spotlight but deserves it. This person can have positively impacted the league community during the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak or is a healthcare professional, first responder, or teacher.

Please send me your nomination* and 2 – 3 brief sentences describing their contributions to your youth baseball community by 12:00 PM Friday, August 21.

Feel free to share this message with board members and coaches within your league and have them send any nominations to me at tmessmer@gmdealerprograms.com.

As always, thank you for your support of Chevy Youth Baseball!

A Great Event!

Warning ⚠️ long post ahead 💕🌈🦄💕

As the dust settles from another great weekend of softball in remembrance of our little girl, who we miss so much, our family would like to express our gratitude for the great community of softball families we’re blessed to be a part of! This year was yet another huge success! We’d like to thank everyone first and foremost for their attendance, whatever your role may have been. We truly appreciate you. 💕 This tournament and fundraiser wouldn’t be anything without your support!

Secondly, we cannot express enough how much we appreciate the continuing support of Amy Stauffacher SchramskiShaun DralleDan Foster, everyone at Harris Baseball/Softball and the unwavering love and support from our Penn Softball families in helping us keep this tournament a success every year and aiding us in bringing this community together in the spirit of competition!

We’d also like to thank Allison Adams for devoting so much time and effort into trying to capture every wonderful moment from this tournament with her amazing photography skills! She was the one carrying a ladder and photography gear that would rival the set up of any photojournalist from National Geographic.

Finally, we would like to recognize all the players and teams that participated. Your passion, dedication and drive for competition is what builds this community. Without your discipline and passion, this sport would be nothing. As we walked around the park this weekend, we were so happy to see so many smiling faces, teams cheering each other on so, so many #playforpiper bracelets on the field. Whether or not your team was victorious this weekend, we consider you all champions this weekend. This tournament brought out the best in you. Coming together for one cause is bigger than any trophy we could’ve handed out. Our hearts are full because of you!

Talks for next years tournament have already began and we’re so happy to be able to continue honoring Piper’s life with all of the people and players we love. 🥎💕🌈🦄💕🥎
